Brian Weber is the Foundation for Sustainable Urban Communities vice president for education and communications initiatives, and editor of CPEd News. Prior to joining the foundation, Brian was a newspaper reporter for 20 years in Colorado, the last 10 at the now-closed Rocky Mountain News where he covered Denver Public Schools and Denver City Hall each for five years. Brian was the lead founder and Founding Executive Director of Denver Language (charter) School, Denver’s first public full immersion school (Mandarin/Spanish) which opened in 2010. DLS has gone on to become one of the highest performing schools in DPS.
