First edition of Swigert’s student newsletter “The Eaglet Post”! CPEDNews Invites More Publications!

Check out The Eaglet Post!

Central Park Education News (cpednews.org) would like to highlight student writing projects from area schools.

We’re looking for news, prose, poetry, commentary, advocacy or opinion. Student publications such as newspapers or literary journals and video productions are welcomed!

Give it some thought!

In the meantime,  in The Eaglet Post read about “Recess Pros and Cons” by third grader Miles Cole,  And “Why Swigert is So Amazing” by Riley Sanders who also won this year’s spelling bee! Riley also illustrated her version of “Why Swigert is Amazing”.

Joke: What’s better than a talking llama?
Answer: A spelling bee!

And read: “Why is it important to Compost?”
By: Katherine Dickey, Emmy
Weldon and Mya Sweeney

And much more!

And a big shout out to parent and former teacher, Karyn Gaudy, for overseeing the student journalists and editing their premier work!
